Thursday Spring 5 - North Cliffe Wood

Garden Warbler
Whitethroat

Tiger Beetle
Reed Bunting
"Please may I use the facilities"
Bugle
The woodlands are already becoming quieter with only the Garden Warblers still singing strongly during the middle of the day. No Cuckoo at this previously guaranteed site for Cuckoo. Nice flora on display, and the Tiger Beetles caused a pleasant diversion. The Green Woodpecker laughed during the afternoon, whilst the Great Spotted was actually seen. I think the birdsong is better at this location in April - will make a mental note to this effect for next year!
