More of the Same

Another showery forecast saw the Thursday groups decamping to the same site as the Wednesday groups. The flora couldn't actually pack up & shelter, so that was identical to the previous day, but there were fewer snakes out in the rain - only one seen before the rain actually started on Thursday compared to 4 the previous day. The birds were pretty similar too - with a Peregrine the best bird of the morning & a Little Ringed Plover chick the most exciting thing in the afternoon. Overall we logged over 40 birds species, which wasn't bad going especially in the soggy conditions in the afternoon!
