The Algarve in early June

A Wednesday afternoon stalwart was unaccountably missing from the classes in June.  It seems he may have been on the Iberian Peninsula instead of trekking around East Yorkshire. These photos were taken around Ria Formosa on the Algarve,  Portugal in early June.  Some of the birds are very different from those we get in the UK, but then others are very familiar...
