Recovering from a Fall

A few weeks ago I parked the car when I spotted a pair of Roe Deer feeding quietly down a deserted country lane.  However, we weren't to know that a cyclist was bearing down on both the Deer and myself.  The deer were caught between a stationary car and a racing cyclist.  Looking at the photos the cyclist just taxied towards the deer once he saw them, he had stopped pedalling.  When the buck took fright his foot slipped on the road surface.  Things could have gone horribly wrong, but the cyclist continued to slow down, and the deer recovered himself before running past my car.  The final two photos are of a Roe Deer in Bishop Wood, near Selby
