Flying White Stork

This morning I travelled to Hornsea Mere to see the Black Terns, but it was locked.  I took the back road from Hornsea To Kilnsea.  I was approaching Easington went I spotted a large bird slowly making its way towards Hollym.  It was a White Stork, presumably the individual reported from various parts of Holderness in the past 3 weeks.  It is an individual from the Knepp Estate reintroduction Scheme.  Half-an-hour later a White Stork was reported over Beacon Ponds.  On to Kilnsea.  There were 17 Green Sandpipers visible from Canal Scrape, plus 2 Common Sandpipers and a Wood Sandpiper - quite a morning.
