Another Tophill Detour

Today saw our final visit to Tophill low for a while.  The wait for the Kingfisher was fruitless, but we saw a buck Roe Deer munching away.  The 5 Water Voles were still active in North Pond. We saw a few Redwing, and our first Short-eared Owl of the Autumn.  There were 7 Little Egrets at the new Hempholme Meadows hide, which were all flushed, as were 3 Wigeon when a Buzzard flew over.  On the way back we had a very confiding Goldcrest
