Lost Photos

Some photos taken in early April went missing, but turned up today, so they are presented below.  The Snakeshead Fritillary is something I've always wanted to see in the wild.  There were at least 2 plants.  Apparently, this species has been present for as quarter of a century, and it isn't known if they are genuinely wild.  However, a DNA test with Kew Gardens would confirm their provenance.

The Wigeon, Avocet and Brent Geese were at Kilnsea Wetlands.

On Monday the redstarts were found at some of their Yorkshire Wolds haunts, but they were seemingly absent from others.
