Yesterday saw our third visit this term to RSPB Blacktoft Sands. Jan found and rescued a Poplar Hawk Moth from the visitor centre. Later, we saw most of the same birds as last week minus the Grasshopper Warbler, but plus a Bearded Tit. For those who didn't get lost for the afternoon class, they were rewarded with a food pass between the two Montagu's Harriers. The female didn't seem to be marked as per the reference books!
