Tophill Open Day Bird Walk

Record shot of Long-eared Owl
Migrant Hawker
Quite a big turn out for the bird walk this afternoon. The highlights were the Long-eared Owl at the beginning & the Kingfishers near the end. The Black-necked Grebe was elusive at 'D' reservoir. Despite this disappointment everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves, and the Kingfisher was a lifelong ambition achieved for one participant.
