Red-Necked Grebe

Red-Necked Grebe (c) 2013 David Tasker
The Red-Necked Grebe has proved very popular at Tophill Low recently. In the last few years a lone male has taken up residence at Hatfield Moor and screamed for a female for 3 months before going into moult & leaving for the winter.  So far this year the Hatfield bird hasn't returned.  Could this be the same individual?  The Hatfield bird always seemed rather lonely with just a few Mallard, Tufted Ducks and some aggressive Coots, and the odd Great Crested Grebe for company.  At least at Tophill there are a lot of other birds on the water.  Here's the best of the photos I've been sent.
