A reluctant return visit to Friday's venue, but thankfully the wildlife was a lot more interesting. The biggest surprise was a singing & displaying Turtle Dove, which I've never seen at that location before. We had better views of Reed and Sedge Warbler, Reed Bunting, Bullfinch, 3 Herons, Yellowhammers, Reed Buntings, Whitethroats. On the negative side there was no Barn Owl, Grey Wagtail, Goldcrests, Pike or Roach, but in general today was a lot better. Despite this I'm relieved that's my last visit to this venue in 2009.
