Wryneck, Plus More White Stork & Young Cuckoo

This morning I went to Kilnsea early to see a large crowd assembled near the Canal Scrape car park.  The bird was very obliging at first, but eventually went into cover.

Last week a class member went to Norfolk in the hope of finding second brood Swallowtails.  This came to nothing, but he had a nice surprise on the chimney tops.

Yesterday, we had another juvenile Cuckoo at home.  The second one in just over a fortnight.  I was able to park up on Walnut path and watch it feeding.  A couple of times it came quite near the car.  This morning because it was clear overnight it had gone.

Now appearing in Brough...  It must be one of the most easterly birds in our area.  Unless, someone knows of some others?
