This is normally rather a quiet time of year for birdwatching. However, a week today a White Stork was a 15-minute drive away. This turned out to be one of the birds from the Knepp reintroduction scheme. Since then we have had some easterly winds, which has resulted in Icterine Warblers, a Collared Flycatcher and Pied Flycatchers at Kilnsea. A Cattle Egret also turned up at North Cave Wetlands.
