Gannets Still at Bempton

I was surprised to see so many Gannets at the top of Bempton Cliffs many of them sitting next to their immature offspring.

A couple of years ago a Thursday morning stalwart made an Owl box, which was erected near some conifers.  He's moved away to the Ripon area, but here are a couple of photos of the new inhabitant: this was taken through his grandson's phone through Phil's binoculars!
