Antigua Before Lockdown & Brough in Lockdown

Just before the lockdown started in the UK, one Wednesday afternoon participant escaped to a holiday on Antigua.  Here are some photos he managed to take with a small camera.  The confiding nature of the Carib Grackle and Bananaquit are obvious.  The brown Pelicans are obviously much further away.

A few weeks after returning to the UK, it was noticed that a lodger was taking advantage.  A new wall was constructed last year after the original hedges died.  A couple of bird house bricks were added and while sat ins the garden having a cup of tea, a Blue Tit was spotted bringing in nesting material.

Meanwhile, I have added two new videos.  The first is a male Blackbird having a bath.  This was taken on an ordinary iPad with the maximum magnification, and just held steady on the arm of a garden chair.  This is the link
