I thought the weekend easterlies may have made Spurn interesting today. The Nightingale was a treat to observe as it fed - with its rusty tail cocked like a giant Wren. Also present were at least 4 Black Redstarts, one Common Redstart & several Wheatears. The one photographed was taken on the Stone Creek muck heap, which looked promising a few weeks ago. The Linnet was taken outside the Warren at Spurn.
