The big surprise this morning were 2 Common Cranes seen heading north along the River Hull. Jackie took some photos, but I've not been able to enlarge them. If I can do so, I will add them to the blog!
Also present today were 2 very active Kingfishers, including the male feeding the female on North Lagoon & a pair of Linnets, the male singing behind the twin hides at S.M.E this afternoon. There were 2 Barnacle Geese on S.M.E with a strange hybrid, but they've been there a few days. A Blackcap was still singing near the car park and another outside SME Hide this pm. A Barn Owl was in this same area at 11.50am. Several Goldeneye were still on 'O' reservoir with a few Wigeon on there, and a male on SME.
