Rough-legged Buzzard

It was too misty in Thixendale this morning to take many photos, but on getting home I decided to travel to Kilnsea Wetlands in the hope of connecting with the juvenile Rough-legged Buzzard, which was allegedly showing well.

Yesterday at Easington looking for Shore Larks, the only birds of interest were eiders.

Back at home a female Pied Wagtail was very confiding on the cemetery wall.

After the Rough-legged Buzzard, the Black-tailed Godwits at Canal Scrape were a welcome sight.
