I was sat in my car with the window open, when my attention was drawn to a Treecreeper visiting a nest in a dead Elm tree. The tree is half-swathed in Ivy. One bird enters the nest below the fork, and may be seen feeding the young. Meanwhile seconds later another Treecreeper seems to enter a nest above the fork in the tree. Both birds are screened by the ivy leaves. Surely two different Treecreepers wouldn't nest as close to each other as this? If that's the case why would the birds have two different entrances to their nest? Also included is an unusual nest site for a Blue Tit.
