Lockdown - Garden Birds Visiting Feeders

The other morning while it was still very cold I set up my chair in the garden between the two feeding stands and just waited to see if the birds would arrive.  The feeders hadn't been out for several days, as we didn't want to encourage a Rat which had been spotted under the feeders.  I was only 6 feet away from the major feeder, so I wasn't sure if anything would visit the feeders.  However, it wasn't long before the birds started to arrive.  I set the iPad to maximum magnification.

The first video is longer than the others, as quite a wide variety of birds visited or sang in the background.  Birds to be seen included:  Long-tailed Tit, Robin, Great Tit, Blackcap, and Starling.  Those on the soundtrack are: traffic, Chaffinch, Robin, Blackcap, Lesser Whitethroat, Wren, Mistle Thrush. The first one is here

The second video shows some greedy Starlings.  Their chicks have recently hatched and they are stuffing their bills before flying off with a full crop.  How to tell the difference between the genders is explained.  The background sounds apart from the traffic are: Robin, Chaffinch & Wren. This one is here

The third video begins with a Bullfinch and also includes Great Tit, Robin and Blue Tit visiting the feeders.  The soundtrack includes: Robin, Goldfinch and Chaffinch.  Finally, this one may be watched here
