Day 3 at Spurn

On Thursday we went to Spurn again, and followed the same route.  The birds are more or less in the order that we saw them, although the Firecrest is given star billing.  New birds included a confiding Redstart on the riverside beach near the Crown & Anchor,  There were more Redwing and an influx of Fieldfare.  We heard a Redpoll, and had a brief glimpse of a Lesser Whitethroat.  There were reports of a Little Bunting, a Great Grey Shrike, a Grasshopper Warbler and a Short-eared Owl at Sammy's Point, but we remained in Kilnsea.
