Autumn Friday 4 - Paull Holme Strays

An oil slick of Golden Plovers! (c) 2008 Bob Silcock
Record shot of Redwings Mute Swan
See yesterday's post for a complete list of birds. Today the weather conditions were much better, making it easier to get superior views of Grey Plovers & Black-tailed Godwits. No Kingfisher, Little Egrets or Stonechats today, but we did have hundreds and hundreds of Redwings & Fieldfares streaming in and moving up the Humber. Also, a large flock of Long-tailed Tits (pm) were a surprise for this location.
