I'm cheating a little because the Waxwings were taken before the class started only a mile or so from home. There were at least 50 resting in a tree but others were joining & leaving all the time - presumably on forays to fruit bearing trees. We had good views of Fieldfare & Redwing at North Cave Wetlands itself, whilst a juvenile large falcon made hay among the gulls & crows from the turrett hide. The deteriorating weather put a swift end to things in the afternoon!
