Our second visit to Flamborough saw a massive increase in number of birds seen, and a large increase in activity. There were an enormous number of Puffins, as well as all the other birds. The meadow pipits and Skylarks were as obliging as last week, but much more confiding in the morning than the afternoon. Last week we failed to see any raptor, but today there were two. A few of us saw a pair of Rock pipits, but they weren't close enough for photos. The Linnets similarly were always rather distant, as was a singing Whitethroat. Over the cliffs were many House Martins, and just a couple of Swallows. Aileen went on to Bempton for the Gannets
