More Blue Flashes

Yesterday we went to the edge of one of the Uk's largest housing estates to see the wildlife there.  It was the nicest day we'd spent there for some time with a nice selection of birds.  However, there was no sign of the Cuckoo or Grasshopper's Warbler, which were the highlight's 2 years ago.  On this visit the Kingfisher was an undoubted highlight.  Maggie was at the back of the group, and she managed to see and photograph a Water Vole, so that was obviously a highlight for her
